All levels are accepted, from beginner to advanced. Before or at the beginning of your English language stay, we conduct a personalized level test to place you in the most suitable course for your current skills. Whether you’re a beginner in English or already have a good level, our programmes adapt to your needs.
For effective English immersion, we recommend a language stay of at least 3 weeks for lasting progress. For those with less time, we offer customised intensive English programmes. The duration can vary depending on your goals, whether it’s a professional language stay or a student one.
During our initial personalised interview, we will present the best options suited to your profile, whether you’re looking for a large cosmopolitan city or a quieter experience in a medium-sized town.
We offer various accommodation options for your language stay, adapted to all needs. From host families to student residences, shared apartments, and hotels, each option offers a unique experience. Choose according to your preferences for immersion, autonomy, and comfort, for a stay perfectly suited to your learning objectives and lifestyle.
For a language stay of less than 6 months, citizens of European Union countries and Swizerland only need a valid passport. Make sure your passport covers the entire duration of your stay. If you don’t have a passport yet, apply for one as soon as possible, as delays can be up to several months.
For most short-term language stays (less than 6 months), European travellers do not need a visa. These rules may vary depending on the duration and type of stay.
Our stays combine English courses taught by qualified teachers with cultural immersion. The courses are adapted to your English level and your objectives, whether it’s for improving your general, professional, or academic English. Outside of classes, you will have many opportunities to practice English in real situations.
Payment by bank card is very common in the United Kingdom. You will also be able to easily withdraw cash from ATMs. Check with your bank about fees applied abroad. An economical alternative is to open an account with an institution specialising in currency exchange.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance covering medical care, cancellation, and luggage loss. Although it’s not mandatory, it can protect you in case of unforeseen events.
For citizens of the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK, the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or the UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) are essential complements:
- The EHIC and GHIC are valid in the United Kingdom and EU/EEA countries.
- They cover necessary medical care during your stay, under the same conditions as residents of the visited country.
- You can usually order your EHIC/GHIC for free through your national health insurance system.
However, the EHIC/GHIC do not replace comprehensive travel insurance. They do not cover repatriation, trip cancellations, or luggage loss. We therefore advise combining the EHIC/GHIC with a travel insurance for optimal protection during your language stay.
Please note: Healthcare agreements can change. We recommend checking the most current information before your trip.
Each season offers its advantages for an immersion stay. Summer is popular for its milder climate and numerous cultural activities. However, an off-season language stay can offer more advantageous rates and less crowded classes. We will help you choose the ideal period based on your availability and English learning objectives.
Yes, many activities are organized to enrich your experience:
• The schools themselves offer a varied programme of extracurricular activities and excursions.
• Additionally, we can help you organize other cultural or leisure activities in advance according to your personal interests.
These activities allow you to practice English outside of classes, discover the local culture, and socialise with other international students.
We only work with schools accredited by the British Council, ensuring high standards in management, teaching, and resources. These schools are regularly inspected and adhere to a strict professional code of conduct.
All teachers hold recognised qualifications in teaching English and have experience with international students. Our partners prioritise native teachers who adopt a communicative and interactive pedagogical approach while adapting to the specific needs of each student.
